  1. Pre-Halloween Vampire Diaries Screening: This year, Covington will be hosting a Pre-Halloween screening of The Vampire Diaries. It will be the day before Halloween and held in our historic courthouse. There will also be stores on the Covington Square who will be selling vampire themed wares. 2. Check out one of our haunted stores! Since Covington, Georgia is overflowing with history, a lot of our historic buildings have haunted visitors. One of my favorite stores to visit is the Church Street Antique Store. The owners love to tell the story about their ghostly visitor, and they will show you their favorite parts of the historic building. Make sure to check this store out if you want to feel chills on Halloween.
  3. Spend the night in a haunted house! The Twelve Oaks Inn Bed and Breakfast is one of the many historic homes we have in Covington, Georgia. Since it has so much history, it’s no surprise that it is also said to have a haunting! If you want to spend a Halloween sleep-over with a ghost, make sure you stay here for Halloween.
  4. Take our Hollywood filming locations tour. On this tour you will see homes from your favorite scary movies. Most notably, in Covington we have had Halloween II and Jason Lives: Friday the 13th If these chilling movies didn’t scare you before, they definitely will after you see where they were filmed!
