OXFORD

The City of Oxford will be having their Fourth of July Parade at 10am!  Oxford will be hosting many fun contests.  Amazing prizes and ribbons will be given to the Best Float, Antique Tractor, Lawn mower and more!  There are so many places to visit in Georgia, and this should be one of them! Don’t miss out on the fun!

COVINGTON

Join us in Downtown Covington, just a short drive from Atlanta, on July 6th for the annual celebration! Special guest Bo Bice, runner up from the 4th season of American Idol will be in the city of Covington with local musician Mac McKibben with McKibben’s Band, Drive Time.  Bice has been living in the area for about a year and is very supportive of the local music scene.

Many other fantastic local musicians will be entertaining the crowd with fabulous music.  Delicious food and fun activities for the kids will be going on throughout the day.  And of course, what Independence Day celebration would be complete without popping fireworks?  The fun starts at 5 pm and goes into the night.  Download the event timeline and don’t miss one of the most fun things to do in Covington, Ga!

PORTERDALE (July 6th)

Due To Inclement Weather, the parade begins at 4pm on July 6th.  Here, you can participate in the parade with your own decorated bikes, trikes, and wagons!  The crowds of Porterdale will be entertained by World Class Wrestling and the TNG Band.  The city will be setting off brilliant fireworks when dusk turns to night.
