Celebrate Mardi Gras in Supernatural Style in #ForeverMysticFalls

mardi grasMardi Gras 2017 is tomorrow, so why not celebrate it like the vampires do! After all, New Orleans is the home of Mardi Gras and vampires too. But, you don’t have to travel all the way to the Big Easy to let les bon temp rouler. Mystic Falls, home of The Vampire Diaries, throws some swinging parties of our own. We scouted some fangtastic Mardi Gras themed events, happening all around town that would make the Salvatore Brothers very proud. Celebrate this bayou bash in supernatural style in Covington, Georgia!

First up, is the Mystic Grill. Located right on the Covington Square, the Mystic Grill is one of our most popular watering holes and a great place to spot a vampire or two. So, what better place to celebrate Mardi Gras, vampire style! For this Mardi Gras, they’re pulling out all the stops. Their Fat Tuesday menu will feature all of your Cajun favorites, like Beignets and etouffee. Don’t forget about their specialty cocktail menu!

mardi grasIf you’re looking for a great meal, straight from Louisiana, head over to RL’s Off the Square. They’re best known for amazing and authentic Cajun dishes that they serve all year round. Enjoy their gumbo, jambalaya, or the jalapeno cheese grits (our personal favorite). You’ll feel right at home in Covington’s little slice of Louisiana!

Why not spice up your Mardi Gras with a little friendly competition? Every Tuesday, Irish Bred Pub hosts Trivia Tuesday and tomorrow is no different. Saddle up to the bar and order a specialty cocktail. Then, put your thinking caps on and get set to play!

Crave a little Cajun, and head down to Covington, Georgia to celebrate Mardi Gras this year! You can unleash your vampire side and let les bons temps rouler with these Mardi Gras bashes in Mystic Falls. Can’t make it for Mardi Gras?
