Cherry Blossom Croquet Tournament

CroquetNext week, on March 15th, there will be the twenty third annual Cherry Blossom Charity Croquet Tournament. This year will be as exciting as ever, with up to 64 two-person teams competing for a good cause. Both Phoenix Pass and A Child’s Voice Advocacy Center will benefit from this cause. For only $50 a person, you are treated to a day of fun, including breakfast and lunch, the tournament, and a wine toasting to ring in the night.

There’s no need to be a professional, as they welcome novice and casual players for this round robin croquet competition. Held at Oxford College of Emory University, it will sure to be a beautiful day for some croquet. Start off the morning with registration and breakfast from 9:30 to 10am, after which round one begins!

There’s a lunch break proceeding round one, where you can relax and mingle with others there. After lunch, the last two rounds of competition will be played. Once the winner is announced, an awards ceremony and wine toasting will take place. There will be awards for best dressed, among other things. GFWC GA Heartland Woman’s Club sponsors this great event helping out a wonderful cause. So get out there and have fun playing croquet, while supporting a good cause. Dressing up is not required, but highly recommended to have even more fun! Can’t wait to see you on the course!
