Christmas Trees at Berrys Tree Farm

Christmas TreeThe holidays are the time of year when we remember to slow down and take a moment to enjoy the simple pleasures in life, and to be thankful for the good things we have.  What better way to do that while getting into the Christmas spirit than by coming out to Berry’s Tree Farm and picking out your own live Christmas Tree?

This farm, which has been owned by the same family for over 120 years, was recently named a Georgia Centennial Family Farm by the Historic Preservation Division of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.  When you pick and cut your own Christmas tree it makes it so much more special for a family than using a plastic one.  Saws are provided, as well as a cutting service, and the trees only cost $6 per foot.

Berry’s Tree Farm is more than just an ordinary Christmas tree farm though, because it features several activities for a family to do.  These include Train Rides, concessions, Hay rides, and a petting Zoo.

To complete your holiday decorating, they also offer fresh wreaths and garlands.  Contact them at http://www.berrystreefarm.com or 770-786-5833 for more information, or stop by at 70 Mt. Tabor Rd., Covington, GA 30014.
