Chamber Committees

Volunteer and Get Involved

The Newton County Chamber of Commerce is always on the lookout for new committee members and volunteers to help us out in different areas.

We are a non-profit organization that relies on the community to help us fulfill our mission.

We have many committees that are responsible for different aspects of the Chamber, such as memberships, special events, and others.

We are always looking for people who are interested in making a difference in their community.

If you are interested in joining a committee or volunteering for the Newton County Chamber of Commerce, please contact us. We would be happy to have you aboard!

The Ambassador Committee

The Chamber’s Ambassador Committee is committed to attracting new members and providing outstanding service to existing members.

Ambassadors play an important role in representing the Chamber at public events such as ribbon cuttings, groundbreakings, and open houses. In addition to promoting the Chamber to potential members, Ambassadors also serve as a valuable resource for existing members, providing information and assistance as needed.

The Ambassador Committee is an essential part of the Chamber, and its members are dedicated to making sure that the Chamber continues to thrive.

Small Business Committee

The Small Business Committee of the Newton County Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to helping businesses in Newton County thrive.

We offer educational resources and networking opportunities to help business owners learn about best practices and connect with other local businesses.

We also advocate for pro-business policies at the local, state, and federal level. As a result of our efforts, Newton County is a great place to do business.

We invite you to join us in our mission to support and strengthen small businesses in our community.

Leadership Newton County

Leadership is an essential quality for any community to thrive. Strong leaders help to resolve conflicts, develop and implement policies, and create a vision for the future. Without effective leadership, communities can quickly become bogged down in petty disagreements and fail to make progress.

Recognizing the importance of leadership, the Leadership Newton County Committee was formed with the goal of identifying and developing leaders in the community.

The committee offers a variety of programs and resources designed to challenge community leaders and potential leaders to gain and share knowledge about Newton County and its issues. In addition, the committee helps individuals develop leadership skills and build a network with diverse backgrounds.

By investing in the leadership of its community, Newton County is ensuring a bright future for itself.
