Covington and The Masters!


Stay in Covington during the Masters!The Masters Tournament is the first week of April and will take place in Augusta, Georgia as it has every year since 1934. The Masters is one of the most prestigious golf tournaments to take place in the United States and every year golf fans fight over tickets to attend the prestigious event. Not only do golf fans fight over tickets to the event, but hotels near Augusta, too.

The weeklong event will begin on April 6th when the famous golf professionals arrive in Augusta to begin their practice rounds. After a few days of practice rounds, the real action will begin on April 9th. On Thursday, April 9th, the actual Masters Tournament will begin and the best golf professionals in the PGA will compete to earn one of the most famous titles in professional golf.

As a golf lover, you won’t want to miss all of this action! However, finding a place to stay that is somewhat close to Augusta can be hard as thousands of other golf lovers are looking for a great place to stay too! Consider staying somewhere close enough to the action to experience it, but far enough away that you don’t have to compete with others just for a hotel room. Leave the competing to the golf professionals in April – book a room in Covington!

Covington Georgia is only an hour and a half away from Augusta and makes the perfect stopping place on your way to or from the Masters Tournament. Finding a hotel close to the action will undoubtedly be a challenge, so make things easier and book a hotel in Covington!
