Covington Christmas Activities: Come Meet Rudolph!

some of our favorite Christmas friends. We have already been visited by the Grinch and Frosty the Snowman and this Friday night we are welcoming Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer!

Rudolph, along with Santa and Ms. Claus, will be arriving to Covington at 6 pm on Friday night. You can meet Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer on Friday at the Square in downtown Covington. The whole downtown area will be closed to traffic, making it a family-friendly event. After meeting your favorite reindeer, you will be able to see Santa and Ms. Claus! Santa Claus will be taking last minute Christmas wishes, as Christmas will be less than a week away on Friday!

On top of all the fun, Friday night is tacky Christmas sweater night on the Square! Dig into your closets and find the tackiest, brightest Christmas sweater you own and wear it out! After finding your tacky sweater, be sure to look in your pantry for canned-goods and non-perishable items to donate to the Salvation Army.

This fun, holiday event also features live entertainment on the courthouse steps from 6 pm to 8 pm. At 6 pm you can catch the Fairview Elementary Chorus. At 6:30, Peachtree Academy will be performing. At 7 pm you will be able to see Ty Rumbell perform, and to finish the entertainment off, The Church at Covington will be performing at 7:30.

So this Friday night, bundle up in your tacky Christmas sweaters and head to the Square at 6 pm for all of the fun. A train and inflatable slide will even be available for the kids! Rudolph, Santa and Ms. Claus can’t wait to se you there!
