Covington Walk of Stars: 20th Stop- Flight

DENZELWelcome back to Covington’s Walk of Stars! When thinking about things to do or places to go, it goes without saying that Covington Georgia is the place to be! Being the Hollywood of the South, we aim to prove it and this week, The Covington, Georgia – Walk of Stars brings to you the 20th stop! This edge-of-the-seat thriller will keep you caught in the action when you watch this week’s Walk of Stars stop—Flight.

Flight came out and simultaneously became a hit in 2012 grossing over $93 million in the box office by February 2013.  A startlingly possible drama/thriller by Chicago native and Oscar winning director Robert Zemeckis.  Zemeckis honed his skills under Steven Spielberg and has earned over 29 nominations for many well known and loved films!

Flight stars A-List actor Denzel Washington as main character Whip Whitaker an airline pilot of a flight from Orlando to Atlanta.  For anyone living on the eastern part of the United States and who indulges in flying, you’d know such a flight is quite a common route to two very popular connections and destinations.

In a whirlwind of action, fear, drama, and frustration Whitaker has to keep his act together to overcome the unknown that seems to be out to get him.  Does Whitaker make the right decisions? Was he really impaired? How would you have dealt with the situation? When watching Flight, make sure to ask yourself what would you do? Let’s find out!

Help us in welcoming the well-deserved 20th stop on the Covington Georgia Walk of Stars, Flight! When considering things to do and places to go, we hope you come by and visit us! We offer you a completely one-of-a-kind tour the whole family can enjoy! Covington, Georgia, the Hollywood of the South says welcome to Flight and we’ll see you soon!
