Date Night in Covington, Georgia- The Mystic Grill

mysticAre you looking for a good date night in Covington, Georgia? Try visiting the Mystic Grill. The Mystic Grill restaurant is based off the popular bar from the TV show The Vampire Diaries. There are multiple things for you to do at this location and after having a bite to eat you can walk around the Covington Square.

You can start your meal off in the main dining area. When you sit down you’re brought a basket of bread. In this basket will be some pieces of mystic bread. Mystic bread is indescribably good. The amount of flavor in this bread will leave your mind whirling!

Then you will sink your teeth into the menu. The Mystic Grills menu is full of many favorite southern foods. You can order anything from shrimp and grits to specialty hamburgers! My personal favorite is to order fried pickles as an appetizer and then get the grilled meatloaf for my entrée. They have some of the best fried pickles in the south! The meatloaf taste like it has been homemade. With such an amazing menu you can’t go wrong with anything you order!

After enjoying a filling meal, you can travel to The Mystic Grill’s rooftop. The rooftop features a bar with amazing views of the Covington Square. They have a good selection at the bar including Sweet Water. Also on select nights they have rooftop bands playing. Spending a night listening to a band on the rooftop is one of my favorite things to do in Covington, Georgia.

If you want a souvenir to commemorate your visit to The Mystic Grill visit their gift shop The Alley. The Alley is located underneath The Mystic Grill. They have everything: souvenir glasses, Peach State Pride, jewelry, and an art gallery.  If you’re looking for a unique souvenir make sure to check them out!

If you’re trying to impress your date, a night at the mystic grill will not disappoint. You two will be treated to a great dinner, stunning views, and an unforgettable night.
