As a way to put to rest their unfilled desire to have a child, Cindy and Jim Green spend a cathartic night drinking wine and writing out on pieces of spiral notebook paper all the great happenings in the life of their imaginary child. They have fun; they put their heart into these intense moments of wish fulfillment.
In this fantasy drama, their wish comes true, and in a weird way. They wake the next morning to find a young boy named Timothy. He has leaves growing from his ankles, a dirt-smudged face, and he calls them Mom and Dad!
And so begins the Disney movie The Odd Life of Timothy Green, filmed in Covington, Ga and in other Georgia cities. This charming movie stars Jennifer Garner and Ron Livingston as the parents, and Cameron ‘CJ’ Adams as Timothy.
Filming wrapped in January 2011, and the movie released in August 2012.

In an interview, actress Jennifer Garner talked about the married couple in the movie. “They’re exactly the kind of couple that you want to see children… so when they can’t have children … it’s a surprise shock, and really devastating for both of them. Cindy wants to be a mom more than anything – so much so that she and Jim together kind of will a child into being.”

SoundTrack: “Whimsical and Clever”

The soundtrack of the film is a part of what makes the movie magical, and has received rave reviews.
“This is a whimsical and clever score. The instrumentation is well-thought-out and superbly crafted for the theme of this film.
”
Zanelli's music has a folksy grass-roots kind of feel; beautiful melodic phrasing, and that touch of magic that makes this score not only appropriate for a Disney fantasy film, but markedly memorable. Love it.”
