This tour will be highlighted with Southern Hospitality. Local Historian Bill Blair will guide attendees through downtown Covington. He will feature tours of Antebellum and Victorian homes, churches, parks and the Square. Guests will also experience two garden tour stops! The stops are at Worthington Manor and the Daniel-Mixon House. While at these houses you can enjoy wine, appetizers, and a southern education!

The stop at Worthington Manor will feature mimosas, wine, and a delectable fruit bar. Guests will also get a tour of the historic home’s gardens. Worthington Manor was built in 1850, so there is plenty of history in this location! It also sits on a beautiful lake lot, so you can sip your wine and take in marvelous views!

Don’t let all that excitement distract you from the Daniel-Mixon House! This house will feature red wines and an olive and cheese bar. While enjoying their wine, guests will tour the luscious gardens around the house.

All guests will be transported to tour locations on The Hollywood of the South’s newest star, Holly Trolley! This way you will be able to enjoy all the fine wine without having to drink and drive. While aboard the trolley you will see more than 30 points of interest!

Along with those points of interest, guests will be enjoying wines! The featured wines of the trip include: Poema Cava, Vina Mayor Verdejo, Cosme Palacio Vendimia Seleccionada, and Glorioso Crianza. While tasting these wines guests will receive a wine education from Robert Harvey of the National Distribution Company.

Space on this tour is very limited, so RSVP as soon as you can! To sign up for the tour, please contact The Cork Boutique and Gifts directly—their phone number is 470-444-1313. We can’t wait to be sipping and learning on the Fine Wine and Moments in Time tour with you.
