  1. The Gaither Plantation – Gaither Plantation is one of Covington’s historic properties and was once a working plantation. The plantation survived the Civil War in the 1860’s and was said to have hid Confederate soldiers in the attic and basement of the house during the war.   3. Fox Vineyards – Located in Covington, this vineyard offers a variety of wines made on site. Wine tasting is welcomed and encouraged.   4. Covington Walk of Stars Tour – over 60 movies have been filmed in Covington. Covington is proudly known as the Hollywood of the South because of its film popularity.
