Get Down and Dirty at the Udder Mud Run

If you’re looking for some adventure and aren’t afraid to get muddy, head out to the Georgia FFA-FCCLA Center in Covington, Georgia on August 6th, 2016 for the 2nd annual Udder Mud Run! The Udder Mud Run is a spectacular event for the whole family and involves rope and wall climbing, hay bale jumping (did we mention they’re on fire?), and running through the mud, of course. The 4-mile course, with over 20 obstacles, has been designed to be enjoyed by everyone, not just the incredibly fit. The only stipulation is that you have to be over the age of 10 to participate.

Race Day begins at 9am, when the competitive 7k heat starts for those mudding enthusiasts. After that first competitive heat, there are heats starting every 20 minutes until 11:40am. Then, at noon, the Family Course 1-Mile Heat begins. This course was designed for all members of your family to challenge each other and bond.

There is no minimum age to compete in the Family Run, but any participants under the age of 13 MUST have an adult run buddy for theentire race. Except for the first competitive heat, all other races are self-timed. Once you’ve survived “Udder Chaos”, you and your team members will receive a finisher’s medal and a custom Udder Mud Run T-shirt!

Not sure you’re up for getting dirty? No worries! Spectators are absolutely welcome and there will be multiple booths set up around the event. Get your photo taken in our photo booth area and check out some incredible merchandise and other goodies. The Udder Mud Run will also need plenty of volunteers to help with the event. If this sounds more your speed, check out this LINK. All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt, lunch, and free access to a special volunteer heat.

Right now, registration for the Udder Mud Run is $50 for the 7k heat and $25 for the 1-mile family run. But, after August 1st, the event will be $65 to participate in the 7k heats and $30 for the family run. Be sure to use discount code MRG10 for $10 off your registration! Visit their website and learn more about this excitingevent! Come get down and dirty in Covington as we host the Udder Mud Run! This event will be held at and put on by the Georgia FFA-FCCLA Center.
