Along with thriving public schools, Newton County has many private schools and schools for children with disabilities within the system. There is a school that is a fit for every child in Newton County to ensure they receive a great education.
Newton County encourages students from every school within our school system to participate in academic activities, athletics and other extra-curricular activities. Students who have graduated from the Newton County School System have been accepted into over 500 colleges all around the country including Stanford, Harvard, MIT, Purdue and Yale. In order to help our students continue their education after high school, NCSS has set up a partnership with the Newton College and Career Academy. The Newton College and Career Academy enhances academic achievement and provides students with knowledge that they can use to succeed in their careers.
Education is one of Newton County’s biggest priorities. As a community we strive to provide the best opportunities for all our students to ensure their success during their academic careers and after they have left the halls of their primary and secondary schools.
