It’s Still Not Too Late to Sign Up for the Covington Fuzz Run!

The covington fuzz run is on September 12 2015!

It's still not too late to sign up for the 32nd Annual Fuzz Run that is taking place this Saturday! This exciting event is not only a ton of fun, but raises money for a great cause, as well. All of the money that is raised will stay in Covington and goes to the Police Who Care Fund in the community. This year's Covington Fuzz Run is set to take place this Saturday, September 12th. Whether you're an experienced runner or just a beginner, you'll have a blast!
The Covington Fuzz Run is not just for adults – kids can enjoy all of the fun, too! The Covington Fuzz Run has a few different runs, including the annual 5k and the kid-friendly 1 mile Fun Run. What makes these runs so special? Not only will the proceeds go to a great cause, but you can win prizes for running too! the top three boys and girls will receive awards for finishing the Fun Run. It is only $20 to sign kids up for the 1 mile Fun Run. There will be cash prizes for the top finishing adults, too! Every man and woman who takes 1st place in their age group will leave the Covington Fuzz Run with a $100 cash prize. The minimum age group to take home a cash prize starts at the 20-24 age group. Sign up early and the cost to register is only $20! The longer you wait, the higher the cost will rise so sign up today!
Although the actual race takes place THIS Saturday, the whole weekend will be full of Covington Fuzz Run fun! In fact, on Friday, September 11th, you can pick up your race packet early when you visit the pre-race expo at the Conyers Street Gym from 8 a.m to 6 p.m. Along with picking up your packet early you can check out a variety of vendors who will have displays and merchandise.
