Movie Review: Halloween II

HalloweenHalloween II is Rob Zombie’s newest creation, which was filmed in the great Newton County, along with our other movie reviews from the past few weeks. This 2009 film is a sequel to Zombie’s 2007 remake of the Halloween franchise, along with being the tenth installment.

The horror flick starts off where the last movie left off; Michael Myers is picked up in an ambulance, assumed to be dead, but quickly awakens and starts back on his infamous murdering sprees, all while trying to find his younger sister, Laurie.

Laurie wakes up from the apparent dream a year later, with Michael still missing from the previous Halloween. Throughout the movie, Laurie and Michael’s visions and dreams become entwined and hallucinations are frequent.

An intense whirlwind of events happen, which I won’t reveal in case you have yet to see it. Lets just say, Michael is back and ready for vengeance.

This film is definitely not a family-friendly event, although a great slasher film. There are many twists, turns, and more in this film. I would suggest if you and a friend are in for a great scare, watch this film, it would not disappoint!
