Newton Movie Review: The Cannonball Run

Cannonball RunCannonball Run is a partially Newton filmed movie that is set in Connecticut, where they are on a mission to complete the Cannonball Run, or a cross-country race! Starring Burt Reynolds, Jackie Chan, and Farrah Fawcett, this 1981 film is sure to be a fun watch!

There are seven teams competing in the Cannonball Run. JJ McClure (Reynolds) and Victor Prinzim (Dom DeLuise) are taking on the challenge in a Dodge Tradesman ambulance, while some of the other contenders are driving a red Ferrari 308 GTS, a black Lamborghini Countach, a tech-savvy Subaru GL hatchback, a white Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow, a silver Aston Martin DB5, and a NASCAR Chevy!

While the ambulance and the Ferrari are the main two competitors, this Cannonball Run is full of crazy twists and turns! Fun and mischievous behavior are giving some of the competitors their edge, but the race is still on!

Overall, this film is a great old-school classic film for you and a friend! While I wouldn’t necessarily say this is a family-friendly film, Cannonball Run is for sure a partially Newton filmed movie to watch! Stop by a store or find it on iTunes and get this movie, sit down with some popcorn, and enjoy this movie tonight!
