Place to Visit in Covington, Georgia- Treasure Thai

Screen Shot 2014-07-14 at 9.44.05 AMTreasure Thai, located on the Covington, Georgia Square is a place you have to eat! The unassuming person will just walk by the quaint little storefront. However, once they walk inside they leave the streets of Covington, Georgia and are transported to exotic Thailand.

From the moment you step into the restaurant you are getting ready for a luxurious experience. The decorations in the building make you feel as if you’re vacationing in Thailand. The pictures hanging on the walls are full of bright color and fit the theme of the restaurant. The wait staff is supreme. They are extremely nice and attentive! If you have any questions about the menu they’re happy to help.

Words cannot describe the menu! They have delectable seafood, mouthwatering appetizers, and one of the biggest selections of Thai food. I ordered the Drunken Spaghetti with chicken and I couldn’t have been more pleased

The portion was huge! I could barely contain myself from licking the bowl because the sauce the noodles were covered in was so tasty! The most important thing though is that Treasure Thai won where other restaurants usually fall flat. Instead of filling the bowl with mostly noodles, they created a filling balance of noodles and vegetables.

If any of you have taken a The Vampire Diaries tour, you know whose favorite Covington, Georgia restaurant this is. Ian Somerhalder is hanging on the walls of the restaurant! Who knows vampire fans, maybe when you come in he might be there grabbing a bite!

For anyone visiting Covington, Georgia, this is a restaurant I would highly recommend. Not only is the food delectable, but also the atmosphere is one of the best. If you’re looking for an experience that you can only get in the Hollywood of the South try Treasure Thai.
