September Luncheon Concerts on the Square!

Now you can turn your “not-quite-Friday” Thursdays into an afternoon of fun live music in downtown Covington!  Throughout this year, The Arts Association of Newton County has hosted Luncheon Concerts on the Square.  These concerts take place every Thursday at noon and have featured many talented musicians. They are the perfect event for families, friends and visitors from out of town. You get to listen to great music and enjoy beautiful downtown Covington, for free!  Add the Luncheon to your list of terrific things to do in Georgia!
The Square in Covington will be hosting new and gifted artists every week. The month of September will be very special, as there will be a luncheon concert every Thursday of the month! On the first Thursday of the month, September 3rd, the concert will feature the Chris Otts Band. This fantastic, local jazz band will be playing on the square starting right at noon! On the second Thursday, September 10th, you'll be treated to the Stage Fright Band, who play classic 60s and 70s music. On September 17th, the luncheon concert will feature the Tony Bryant Band and the last Thursday, September 24th, will feature the Premier Blues, who is a brass quintet.
The Luncheon Concerts on the Square guarantees that you will always have a place to unwind and listen to great live music during your workday. Be sure to make the Covington Square one of the many places to visit in Georgia.  The gathering of these remarkable artists marks the Luncheon as one of the finest things to do in Covington, Georgia!
