Sharpen Your Golf Skills For Spring at The Winter Break Camp!

Are you or your junior golfer looking to sharpen your golf skills before spring arrives? Newton County has some of the most beautiful golf courses in the state of Georgia, The Oaks Course and Ashton Hills, in which you can do just that. Each offer unique, affordable golfing opportunities that will become your favorite spring time hobby! If you are looking to jump start your junior golfer’s skills this year – sign them up for The Oaks Course’s Winter Break Camp!

The Oaks Course will be holding a Winter Break Camp on February 12th and 13th. The camp will consist of two morning lessons led by The Oaks Course’s own golf professional, Gary Miller. The camp includes two half days where junior golfers can freshen their technique – it is a great way for them to spend a part of their winter break!

The Winter Break Camp is open to both boys and girls, ages 5 to 16. Junior golfers should arrive at The Oaks Course at 9:45 a.m. for check-in. From 10 a.m. until 11:45 a.m., junior golfers will be taught golf tips that will come in handy for the rest of their golf career. Instructional topics will include golf fundamentals, golf etiquette, the rules of golf, full swing and more.

Signing up is easy. All you have to do is call the golf shop at The Oaks or stop by The Oaks’ golf shop – but make sure you sign up before February 10th, as that is the deadline for this great junior golfer opportunity. The Winter Break Camp costs $45 per child and is a wonderful chance for your junior golfer to learn more about golf technique that they can use in their upcoming spring golf matches!
