Spring Concerts on the Covington Square!

May is sure to be a busy month in Covington! With perfect weather already here and summer just around the corner, there are plenty of ways to spend some time outdoors at exciting events that will be happening all spring long and they are being conveniently held in Covington. One of our favorite Covington events is the spring concert series that will begin this Thursday, May 7th.

Need a break from the workplace during the day? Covington is providing the perfect opportunity to take a break from the desk by bringing back our Spring Luncheon Concerts on the Square! These concerts will be held every Thursday in May at noon. You can easily locate the concerts as they will all be held in the middle of downtown Covington on the Square.

This Thursday, May 7th, you can enjoy some classic 80’s and 90’s rock performed by the Blu Maxx Band. Following that, on May 14th, Johnny Roquemore and the Apostles of Bluegrass will be taking the stage at the Square during the lunch hour. On May 21st, The Bradley Green Band will perform true Southern soul and gospel. Before they perform, the Square will be in for a treat, as the concert will open with NCTS 2ND Grade Hand Bell Choir. The last concert of the month, held on May 28th, will feature the Seminole Jackson Blues Band.

When you’re feeling a little restless in the office, take a break and enjoy the free entertainment over lunch and with friends! Take some time to enjoy the fresh air and warm weather and head outside for a concert or two during the month – we can’t wait to see you there!
