Teen Choice Awards Winners- The Vampire Diaries

Vampire Diaries Teen ChoiceSunday August 10, 2014 marked this year’s annual Teen Choice Award. These awards let teens vote on their favorite Hollywood shows, movies, and actors/actresses. Some of our favorite vampires were voted to win awards. The Hollywood of the South would love to congratulate The Vampire Diaries on the plethora of awards they won

The Vampire Diaries which we often see filming in Covington, Georgia won an award overall. The show won Choice TV Show: Fantasy/ Sci-Fi. What an amazing job!

Also some of our favorite vampires won awards individually.

Candice Accola who plays Caroline Forbes on The Vampire Diaries was the first individual vampire toCandice Accola Teen Choice win an award that night. She won the Female Scene Stealer award. Maybe this is due to the Klaroline scene from last season? We love seeing Candice’s scenes on The Vampire Diaries and we are very excited to tell her congratulations.

A lot of The Vampire Diaries and The Originals cast were up for the Teen Choice Award- Actress Fantasy/ Sci-Fi. Both Nina Dobrev and Kat Graham were up for this award. However, it was Nina who won the award. We are very happy to congratulate both of them for the nomination and Nina for the win.

Competition must run in the Salvatore brother’s blood. Not only do they fight over girls, they also fight over awards! Both Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley from The Vampire Diaries were nominated for Best Actor Fantasy/Sci-Fi. While Ian Somerhalder won the award, we are still extremely proud of both of them for being nominated.

We had a great time watching The Vampire Diaries cast win their awards. We can’t wait to see them again in The Hollywood of the South- Covington, Georgia.
