The Gem off Highway 278 in Covington – Just Dogs & Burgers

Just DogsWhen driving down Highway 278 in Covington, Georgia, you will see a lot of appealing places to eat. The options of Thai, Fast Food, and Mexican cuisines are easy to find. While all these options are amazing, one place that I highly recommend visiting is Just Dogs and Burgers. This unassuming building is easy to pass up, but if you pass by it you’re missing some of the best hotdogs, hamburgers, and salads you could ever try.

Don’t let their name fool you. They have a wide array of options. You can customize any burger, hotdog, sausage, or salad that you choose. If you don’t like one of the pre-made options on the menu, have it customized! Personally, I like to get a hamburger with cheese, onion rings, and BBQ sauce.

Which brings me to my absolute favorite thing to eat at Just Dogs and Burgers- The onion rings. It is very possible that they are the best onion rings I have ever eaten. The onions are cute very thin, which makes the onion rings easier to eat. Instead of the usual problem where you pull the whole onion out of its batter coating, you can easily bite these rings apart.

Personally, I think the onion rings taste so awesome because they are freshly made when you order them. Everything you order at Just Dogs and Burgers is made fresh for you when you order. While it may take a bit longer to get your good, the fresh taste it gives is definitely worth it.

Next time you’re driving down Highway 278 in Covington, Georgia, make sure to stop by Just Dogs and Burgers. After trying some of their fresh food, you will be visiting weekly!
