The Miracle League in Covington Georgia

Covington has always been known as a wonderful community to live in; however, in April an extremely special recreational park will be added to the community to make it even more special. The Miracle League is a recreational park that will be completely accessible to children with handicaps. The Miracle League is designed to be a recreational park where all children will have the opportunity to play baseball.

Construction on The Miracle League recreational park is scheduled to be finished on April 15th, 2015 – just in time for spring baseball! Construction on The Miracle League began in September of 2012 and the community of Covington has long been anticipating its completion. The Miracle League will have a number of features that make it possible for kids with handicaps to play baseball.

With its special features, children with handicaps will be able to play baseball in Covington! The Miracle League has special features such as a custom-designed field with a cushioned rubberized surface to help prevent injuries, wheelchair accessible dugouts, accessible restrooms, and a completely flat surface to eliminate any barriers to visually impaired or wheelchair-bound baseball players.

The Miracle League is a wonderful cause that will allow all children to experience baseball. The Miracle League baseball field will be completely safe for all children and encourages all children to play sports. The complex is located near the City Pond Park in Covington. Although The Miracle League is close to being completed, donations and support are still very welcome!
