Last night was the season finale of the fifth season of The Vampire Diaries. Here in the Hollywood of the South we had a great crowd come out and watch with us on The Square.
Before you read the rest, there may be a few spoilers ahead! We’ll try to keep it to a minimum:
The episode started where the last left off. Caroline is crying and Stephan is dead. Set on finding a way to get him back from the Other Side, the group sets out on a master plan.
The episode is as dramatic as it should be, with many deaths being brought up. You come into contact with Alaric and Lexi, who are back to help Stephan and Bonnie on the other side.
There’s a master plan to get the travelers to leave Mystic Falls for good. It’s a big plan, but we all know the crew can handle it. There are many moments in this finale that left the viewers in tears, pleading that it wasn’t the end.
For those of you who haven’t seen it, that’s all I’ll say. But trust me, you NEED to go watch it NOW! The cliff hanger at the end will be sure to leave you wanting more, but it’s something we here in the Hollywood of the South will have to wait until next season for!
