Things To Do in Covington: Candlelight Christmas Tour

Are you starting to plan your Christmas holiday activities? If you are going to be in Covington, GA or the surrounding area, we have a tour that you need to check out! On Saturday, December 7th from 1-7pm the Satsuki Garden Club is hosting the Candlelight Christmas Tour.               

If you’ve been following along, we have been posting about each of the stops on the tour. This week, we are at stop #3, the home of Don & Pat Showalter located in Covington, GA.  Covington Place to be exact, along the 5th hole of Ashton Hills Golf Course.

This usual custom-built home inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright was built in 2005. The unique architecture is gorgeous lite up with sparkling holiday cheer! The Showalter home is not one you will soon forget. Its use of Brazilian mahogany front door will welcome you and your family in. A beautiful handcrafted mahogany antique studio grand Weber piano graces their home for entertaining. There is also a two-story family area with floor to ceiling windows is perfect for gathering guests together in true holiday fashion. Beyond the French doors that add elegance and grace to this home there is a sun room perfect for enjoying hot coco! This exquisite unique home will truly surprise you with its décor!
