Things to do in Georgia: Steeple Chase 2013 Change the World Day


Steeple chaseSteeple Chase 2013 Change the World Day is October 26th! In case you haven’t heard Newton County has done it again! Being more than just a place to live, Newton County is dedicated to its neighbors by supporting and hosting events for the community and its children to get involved and affect change! Newton County aims to make lasting impressions on its youth and help guide them to being productive members of our community and our loving society. For Change the World Day, many people are coming together as one. Steeple Chase 2013- will be a great event for the kids and family to enjoy! Please come out with your family for a great cause! Instill some community pride in the projects we hope to complete and the awareness we hope to create!

Many events for everyone are going on all day on and off site! At 8:00am there will be a 1 mile race, then at 8:30am a 5K race, and at 9:30am will be a quarter mile race for special needs! All special needs participants will receive a free T-Shirt and medal. High school bands, cheerleaders, and mascots will be joining in to cheer on the racers all the way down the finish line!

Certainly a great event for a great cause! Newton County shows yet again why it is a community and not just a place to live! Come join in on the fun all day with the proceeds going to the Miracle League, Chimney Park, and the Newton County Special Olympics! Be a friend and lend a helping hand for these community projects! We’re a community full of love for our neighbors! Join in for Steeple Chase 2013 Change the World Day October 26th—Hope to see you there!
