It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is the time for family and friends and good tidings and even, selfies. If you’re looking to start a new Christmas tradition with your family or are in need of some holiday spirit, then head to the Covington Square. And, if you’re in town to tour the lights, be on the lookout! There are five special Christmas spots on the Square that are perfect for a holiday picture. When you find them, take a selfie and use #SelfieOnTheSquare! Let’s see who can find all five.
First stop on your Christmas selfie tour: Our Covington Courthouse. You may recognize this historic building from The Vampire Diaries, but this time of year, the courthouse is decked out in its holiday best. Snap a picture on the steps and be sure to get the garland in the background. Next is, the Giant Wreath. Located right in front of the courthouse, our holiday wreath will wish you and yours a very “Merry Christmas 2015”! Walk a little further down and you’ll find Santa's Workshop, where all of Santa’s elves are busy making Christmas cheer. Then, find Santa's giant chair! Bonus points if you happen to snap a shot with the Big Man, himself.
