Visit Berry’s Christmas Tree Farm for your Family’s Tannenbaum!

Christmas Tree Farm

One of the best traditions at Christmastime is going to pick out your Christmas tree for the season. Taking the family to the tree farm and scoping out the best one, you scour the lot looking for the perfect height and the right amount of branches for all your holiday ornaments. What if we were to let you in on a little holiday secret? There is a fantastic Christmas tree farm, where you can find your perfect yuletide tree, right in your own back yard!

Berry’s Christmas Tree Farm has been a family-run institution to Covington’s holiday fun since they began selling Christmas trees in 1977. The land was originally a tenant farm, founded in 1884, and has been continuously operating ever since. Sharecroppers started out with cotton, hay, and dairy on the farm. But, when the Berry’s decided to convert the farm to grow only the best Christmas trees available, history was made!

Now, the farm is home to seven varieties of pine, including the first Christmas trees the Berry’s planted— the Virginia Pine. Families and friends are always welcome to stop by and cut down their own trees. That’s right! It’s an old fashioned, saw your own tree lot. And Berry’s trees are given their beautiful pencil shape by what we can only describe as a Christmas tree ninja! We heard about the man who shapes the trees at Berry's with two large blades while we were on our tour there. Click this link below to see a video of him work effortlessly to make these trees so perfect!
