Witches Night Out and Moonlight Run 5K

witches night out Something wicked this way comes! On October 15th, be prepared to see some witches wandering the streets of Covington, Georgia. The 3rd Annual Witches Night Out and 5K Moonlight Run is back and hundreds of women are expected to participate.

Last year, participates ran fully decked in costumes of all shapes and sizes and shopped and dined downtown on the Square. If you’ve been looking for an excuse to break out your broomsticks then this is the perfect event for you.

Sign-in for the Moonlight Run 5K begins at 12:00pm on October 15th. Our magical evening continues on the Covington Square when, from 2pm to 9pm, shops and stores keep their doors open and ready to welcome our visiting witches.

Gather your “ghoulfriends” and dine in one of Covington’s incredible restaurants.Enjoy special tricks and treats from local stores, who will be offering special discounts for the evening. Feel free to bring the hobgoblins (the kiddos, of course) along too!

Then, settle in on the Square as the Moonlight Run begins! There will be a mile-long “fun run” starting at 5pm and the 5K will begin at 5:20pm. Watch racers run or walk in their witchy best! Or, register to enter the race yourself and run alongside your fellow witches. Witches Night Out will also host some devilishly good contests for best costume, best cackle, and best witches hat!
