You Can Golf During The Masters, too!

The Masters Tournament is April 6th through the 12th this year. It is famously known as one of the biggest, most prestigious golf championships to take place in the US – and it’s only an hour and a half away from Covington! With such a big event so close to home, it’s an exciting time! Not only can you enjoy the excitement of such a big event, you can also cheer on your favorite pro golfer and feel close to action!

Even though The Masters is one of the biggest golf championships to take place in the US, you don’t have to sit back and just watch the action that takes place all week. You can golf too! Two of the best golf courses in North Georgia, The Oaks Course and Ashton Hills Golf Course, happen to be located in Newton County and they are offering special deals during the week of The Masters!

The Oaks Course is located in Covington, GA and they are very excited about The 2015 Masters Tournament! They are so excited that they are offering special packages exclusively during the week of The Masters. They are also hosting a Pick A Pro contest on April 11th, in which golfers can “partner” with a professional golfer during The Masters. Your score will be combined with your professional “partner’s” in order to compute your final score.

Ashton Hills Golf Course is located in Covington, as well. During the week of The Masters, Ashton Hills will be offering special rates. During the week of the Masters, Monday – Friday, they have a special rate of $59 per player. This flat rate includes your green fee and a cart for 18 holes! During the weekend, Saturday and Sunday, you can get the same package for 18 holes for only $69 per player.

Don’t miss the fantastic deals that our local golf courses are offering during The Masters!
