Leadership Newton County is a year-long program that brings together professionals from business, education, healthcare, government, and beyond to experience Newton County from the inside out. You’ll meet the people making decisions, visit the places driving growth, and gain a front-row seat to the organizations and initiatives shaping the future of our community.
Along the way, you’ll grow alongside a Class of driven, community-minded professionals who challenge and inspire you to show up as the leader Newton County needs. Leave with a deeper sense of what it means to lead in the community you call home.

LNC brings together emerging and established professionals from business, education, healthcare, nonprofits, and government for immersive monthly experiences.
You’ll engage directly with community leaders, gain insight into the systems shaping Newton County, and build relationships that last well beyond graduation. Limited spots are available each year, keeping the experience intentional and the cohort close-knit.
Leadership Retreat
A transformational overnight experience focused on team-building, communication, and personal growth.
Government & Civics
Engage with local and state leaders including a visit to the Georgia State Capitol.
Education & Workforce
Explore the systems preparing the next generation of Newton County's workforce and leaders.
Economic Development
Discover the businesses, industries, and infrastructure driving growth in our region.
